Belotero® Revive is applied via injection over multiple treatments working as a skin booster and for an overall youthful radiance.
Belotero® Revive, unlike most other skin boosters in the market, is indicated to revitalise the signs of early onset sun damage which accounts for approximately 90% of external aging.
It also contains an additional ingredient of glycerol, a powerful hydrating agent. This makes Belotero Revive the only HA filler with Glycerol, creating a lasting moisturising effect, as it promotes water absorption within the skin, resulting in increased hydration, smoothness, elasticity and firmness.
Belotero® Revive is a quick and easy treatment. Generally, after your consultation and assessment, the procedure can take around 45 minutes.
It is injected beneath the skin where it can provide direct hydration due to the combination of Hyaluronic acid and Glycerol, creating a lasting moisturising effect on the skin.
Belotero® Revive does not contain local anaesthetic, so a topical numbing cream is applied to your skin 20-30 minutes prior to injections or the pain can be reduced with ice. Multiple small injections of the product are placed in the area to be treated. You may see little bumps that will settle within a few hours.
Belotero® Revive is best injected under a treatment regimen of 3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart depending on your needs. 100% of patients showed improved aesthetic results at Week 12.
As ageing continues we recommend a booster every 6 months
The duration of Belotero® Revive results varies depending on each individual. In some patients BELOTERO® Revive has been seen to last between 6 to 9 months, but there are many factors to consider, such as the structure of your skin, lifestyle and age.We can discuss this with you at your consultation.
The short answer is yes! Belotero Revive® can safely be combined with botulinum toxin injections , energy-based devices and dermal filers. In fact, it works best, when combined with fillers – the fillers will replace lost volume, while Revive provides that photos finish.
The side effects are similar to other injection treatments.
Belotero Revive is a relatively safe treatment with a very low risk of side effects. These are usually due to the injection. Temporary side effects include :
redness
pain
itching
swelling
tenderness at the injection sites
